Christian based ministries from the profits generated through the business.
CKS Packaging is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and owns 15 manufacturing plants across the United States. The company is the leader in the design and manufacturing of blow-molded plastic containers for consumer and industrial products. The company’s origins date to 1964 when Charles K. Sewell founded Sewell Plastics with the belief that there would be a market for plastic containers for milk and dairy products. Within six years the company grew to five plants and over $12 million in sales.
Mr. Sewell expanded the company to 22 manufacturing plants with annual sales exceeding $325 million.During this time Sewell Plastics made several achievements including the manufacturing of the first PET soft drink bottle for The Coca Cola Company.
In 1982 Mr. Sewell sold the company. After a three years Mr. Sewell re-entered the packaging industry by forming CKS Packaging. The company continues to grow and serves customers across the United States with high quality products, excellent customer service and a commitment to high ethical standards. The company also maintains a covenant under which it provides community outreach programs and services to improve the lives of people in need.
