Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, CKS is a family-owned manufacturer of rigid plastic bottles and containers. Founded in 1985, CKS has grown to include 27 manufacturing sites serving regions across the United States. It All Began With One Man’s Vision
CKS is named after our founder, Charles K. Sewell, whose entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to meeting market needs led him to develop the first 2-liter plastic carbonated beverage bottle. Prior to CKS’ inception, Charles worked in the plastics industry since the mid 1960’s and was honored to be named the first recipient of the Society of Plastic Engineers Lifetime Achievement Award.
